What Our Guest Are Saying
EXCELLENT Based on 1500 reviews Posted on Stephanie BellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed in the tiny home cabin and it was perfect for our family of 5 with young kids! The proximity to the zoo is obviously very helpful, but we especially loved being able to cook our own meals in a well stocked kitchen. While there’s no oven, we did just fine with the 2-burner stove, toaster oven, and our own slow cooker we brought from home. The fridge had plenty of space for our groceries to cover a 2 night stay. We ate in the living space and outside at the picnic table by the pond. Can’t let kids run around like that in a hotel, that’s for sure! The bed was comfortable, the towels were luxurious, and the toilet paper was even nice! We did have to go around and unplug all the air fresheners, just a heads up to those who are sensitive or avoid artificial fragrances. But propping the door open really cleared the air out quickly since the space is small! Communication with the business was individual, cordial, and helpful. It’s nice corresponding with a real human about your stay. Can’t recommend enough if you’re looking for simple lodging for a zoo trip!Posted on Brian DuntonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wonderful Friendly folkPosted on Eric WilsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed at Zooland Family Campground this past weekend and had a great experience. When we arrived, the office had already closed and I accidentally drove past it. Luckily, the manager noticed and stopped to ask if I needed help. She was extremely friendly, showed me where our site was, and even went back to the office to get my welcome packet. That level of customer service really stood out. Our campsite was nice, clean, and perfect for our camper. We got everything set up and enjoyed a relaxing first night. The next day, my daughter and I spent a few hours fishing in the pond. I managed to catch one bass, which was fun. Around 11 we planned to go to the zoo, but it was already close to capacity since it was the first really nice weekend in a while. Instead, we did some sightseeing around the area and then came back to the campground. Later in the afternoon we did a little more fishing, checked out some of the hiking trails in the park, cooked dinner, had a campfire, and played some card games. It turned into a really relaxing day. The bathhouse was very nice and clean. They didn’t have any events going on while we were there, but the event room looked like it would be a lot of fun during the summer season. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and will definitely be back later in the season. — Eric WilsonPosted on Danielle ParentTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were super impressed with Zooland Campground. We live in our RV and our “main” campground closed unexpectedly and Zooland was very helpful and accommodating. They got us into a spot and helped us come up with a plan just in case. Jennifer was also amazing and helped our 13 year old begin a business venture. We participated in the Valentine’s Day events and had a wonderful time. We are very thankful for zooland and all the staff in helping to make a rough situation a great one!!!! We will definitely be back!Posted on Debbie KiddTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We didn’t have a room but our site was nice.
